Anyone ever seen these 6 lug 16x8 painted steel smoothie wheels

I picked these up a week ago thinking that I was completing my set of 15x8 6 lug smoothie wheels with hubcap provisions. Just for kicks I grabbed a tape measure and they are 16"! I didn't bother to measure them when I found them as all of them I have seen were 15". Anyone have any idea if they are factory GM or what they would have came on? They are stamped GM.

They are 16". Outer lip to outer lip is just under 17"

You can't measure rims like this. You have to go bead to bead as that is the measure point.

I've made this same mistake myself.

I actually sell a lot of wheels as I am in the parts business so I do know how to measure them.

Check the code by the valve stem ...usually 2 letters and then look on the backside to find dimensions and production date.I have seen 16 x 5 on pre 77 4 x 4 units but not 16 x 8.

Does it have a 1/2" hole for the valve stem or 5/8"?

the shape of the rim looks like 16.5 to me. it has more of a slope to it, and I can't tell for sure but I don't see the inner safety lip to hold the bead. got any pics of the inside edge of rim?

Re: Anyone ever seen these 6 lug 16x8 painted steel smoothie wheels

The wheels are across town at my storage lot so I don't have any more pictures. I was hoping the center design around the lugs would be helpful on dating/describing them.

Will be interesting to see the codes

6 stud wheels with 16.5 tires were available on Gen 1 Blazer

Re: Anyone ever seen these 6 lug 16x8 painted steel smoothie wheels

Centers look just like the ones on the yellow blazer in the pics so maybe they are 16.5s. Once I realized they weren't 15" I just figured they were made by an aftermarket company in a custom width. I really should have looked when the tires were still on them. I had been looking for a match for my 15x8 6 lug wheels so when I saw they were 8" wide and stamped GM I didn't bother looking at anything else. There are no codes on the back. On the front one wheel has K-1-1 AA 3. The other wheel has k-1-0 CP 2
