Power Steering Install Help
I have a 70 C10 with 307 sbc. I recently purchased a power steering pump and brackets off of a member here. Below is a picture of the setup out of the truck he pulled it from. I'm having trouble figuring out where the two bolt holes tie in to the engine on the bracket going along the driver side of the engine. Any help!?!

Re: Power Steering Install Help
Just like these drawings show and the pictures in your other thread (where this should have continued!) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=666872 it lands there at the motor mount bosses. Wideside72's pictures are very clear and specific to the style it appears you have.
As far as getting it in there, it could take a little work like lifting the engine and pulling the mount loose some.

Re: Power Steering Install Help
Tim, thanks for the reply. Sorry I didn't continue from that other thread.
Can I lift the engine up enough with a floor jack? I don't have a hoist.

Re: Power Steering Install Help
You can but put a block of wood between the jack and oil pan to reduce the chance of bending the oil pan.
