1987 grille question

I have an '84 but used to have an 87 V20 and should have never sold it.... Anyway my 84 will eventually surpass that long gone truck. I'd like to change my 84's grille to an 87. Is that a plug and play job? Also are 85-86 the same as 87?

Re: 1987 grille question

Unknown, but I'm pretty sure it will fit just fine. Just make sure you get all the necessary mounting hardware that is supposed to come with a new grill.

And whatever you do, don't do like I did and try and cheap out on a chinese ebay one. Get an original GM grill. When I tried to get mine to bend and conform to the factory places that the grille is supposed to, it broke. My guess is a GM grille wouldn't do that.
