Valve cover stud question
Hey guys,
I'm getting a new valve cover for my L6 250, and I wanted to put some wing nut type fasteners. What's the length that I need to get? It's the stock height and length, just shiny. |

Re: Valve cover stud question
1/4" - 20 x 3/4" long should work fine or 1/4" -20 by 1" long depending on the wing nut length.
Basically you want about 1/2" into the head and the close to the same in the wingnut.

Re: Valve cover stud question
I bought a set for a V8 engine and only used 7 of the tee handle ones.
