Is custom deluxe the base model
I bought this 1985 C10 SWB from the junkyard. I plan to do all the metal work to bring it back, but my question is about the custom deluxe model. I believe it to be the base fleet model. Anyone know for sure.

Yes, Custom Deluxe is the base model, ironically there is nothing custom or deluxe about them. Lol

Thanks for the reply. I figured being white, SWB, and rubber floor mat is was a fleet cheap version.

An out of state driver got pulled over in my town for a DUI. He had to surrender the truck over to the police to pay for storage and penalties. The owner of the junkyard bought 27 vehicles at their auction and he asked me to do the metal work on this truck so he could drop in a 396 and air bags. I told him to find a better truck so he sold it to me. I only bought it because it's a short bed.
Truck actually run great. It just need rust repairs to make a nice truck out of it. It is nicely optioned too.
