Isuzu NPR LQ4 Questions
I removed an LQ4 from a wrecked Isuzu box truck this weekend. The oil pan measures about 5" deep in front. I'm thinking that this will fit very nicely in my '84. Could it be an Fbody type of pan because of the way it fits in the truck?
Also, there appears to be a vacuum pump of some sort on it. Can I use that for my brake booster, or should I just find somewhere else on the intake manifold? |

Re: Isuzu NPR LQ4 Questions
I found this via Google. Should help you identify the oil pan for certain. http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversion...-oil-pans.html
As for the air pump, need more information/pictures. For the brake booster though, it's fed off of the vacuum nipple located on the rear driver's side of the truck style intake.

Re: Isuzu NPR LQ4 Questions
do you have any more pics of the engine? Im curious about the differences between your box truck engine and a normal lq4.
