auto or manual?

looking through my parts pile for both builds, i noticed the gas pedal rod for my auto has a hook on the end, and the gas pedal rod i got from a member(thanks jon btw) for my manual is just round and has a bend to it. so is one for an auto and one for manual or what???

3.431 rod, accelerator pedal

3763962 1960-62 all /exc p-models
3822181 1963 /all w/ 6cyl /exc p-models
3763962 1963 /all w/v-8 /....first jobs - planed on bottom of end going to support
3822181 1963 /all wv-8 /....after jobs - planed on top of end going to support
3842873 1964-66 /all /exc g10 - g910 , p-models

didn't some 66 have a pedal that had the ball mounts on the floor and snapped on?
maybe that upper one in the picture is for that style pedal?

the top one came from my 65 with auto, the bottom one came from (Jon1963c-10) so I'm not sure which yr it is...

The one I sent you was the original from my 63 6cyl/manual application

per the part #'s listed above it looks like 6cyl/v8 in 63 got the same mount. Just would have had a different mounts attached for the 6cyl or v8 application
