Tranny value????
I'm hoping someone here will help me out. I'm inquiring as to what a 3 spd OD tranny out of a 68 GMC 3/4 ton 2wd with a I-6 is worth. It says M20 on the tailshaft housing after the OD adapter plate. I have someone who is interested in buying it and I have no idea what it is worth. I just want some comments as to what is fair for both buyer and seller assuming it needs some reconditioning. I know the tranny works but am unsure of the OD the electric solenoid clicks when power is applied to it so it may be good.
Thanks for your help. |

I sold the last overdrive transmission that I had for $450.00, but that was in good condition and with the shifting cable. I would figure yours at $350.00 or so. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

PICKMUP,
Do you still have that tranny for $300? My potential buyer is in Kent, WA so it may just be easier for him to deal with you. Instead of going through the shipping etc. |

mindhive, yes having the cable does matter. The origanal cables are as hard to find as the transmissions are. In fact probably more difficult. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
