Need help finding 38-40 tires.
All I have seen are about $300 per tire new. Are there any OFF-brands out there cheaper? I do not care what the tread pattern is, the truck is mainly for looks.
BTW: What are the advantages to getting a Radial vs Bias Ply?

As I know it, a radial runs better on the road, a bias ply tends to wander and follow crackes in the road. A bias ply typical is better off-road, aired-down for rocks, sand, etc... I believe the largest radial is 38" but it's been awhile since I really looked. I know a local tire dealer (Tread Quarters) had Gran Prix non-directional tires (like ground hogs) in sizes up to 38" that were bias ply for under $200 a tire.
Also larger bias ply tires are prone to get flat spots from sitting over night they smooth out after you get down the road a ways.

I ended up going with a 38x15.50 Pernelli Jones DIrt Grabber. Its a radial and rides very nice. Supposedly good in the mud. We will see.
