Heat coating for ramhorns
I have a set of ram horns that I just had sandblasted. Is there some kind of coating to put on them to keep them looking this color or is powder coating them grey/silver the only way to keep this color?

Eastwood has a cast grey coating for exhaust manifolds.Don't know how well it holds up to daily use.My brother inlaw has it on his show cars.

The Eastwood stuff will give at least a couple of good years in daily use. I would use it again.

The Eastwood company has some really good coatings. Everything I have ordered from them has been high quality.

Another option I have used is manifold spray paint by VHT. It held up over 100,000 miles on a car I did. Don't fire it up in the garage and let it run a long time, though. I backed out of the garage and let it run for a while, but the stuff stunk in the garage as it started to get hot and it was baking in.

I saw a picture a few years ago of ram's horn manifolds that were completely smoothed & coated with that cast coating. Looked pretty good.
