OK, I need help
Have posted a couple of times about my rebuild of my dads 70 C20 Custom Camper. Need help finding a couple of items. Have looked and looked for:
1. Transmission mounts (truck is a 350 with a Muncie 4 speed SM465 2 wheel drive) Seems that the 4WD mounts are the ones that are correct. 2. Power steering pump pully (Part 3925537 DC) Not sure which new ones will work, seems like offset is incorrect on most that I find. Think I could shim some to work. Have had a major problem with windshield gaskets, and has taken a week to get a new windowshield in, but past that now. If I can find the transmission mounts, the trans and engine should be going in next week. Thanks Dan

Unless the truck is a 4x4 why do you think the 4wd are the ones you need? I would think any 2wd manual mounts would work. LockDoc

Re: OK, I need help
I swapped out my pulleys for a serpentine system. I'm not sure how original the pulley I pulled off was but if I can find I would be happy to give it to you, just pay for shipping. If your interested I can try and find it and snap a few pictures for you. It came off a 1968 and I think it was a camper special but not sure how to tell. Someone told it was because it had the big back window but not sure. It did have some hefty helper springs in it that sure looked factory.

All 68's had a big back window. If the truck was a Custom Camper it would have a "Custom Camper" badge on the fender. Just for clarification the Camper Special was a Ford designation until '73.... LockDoc

Re: OK, I need help
Agree, 4x2 trucks support the engine at four points. Two up front and two on the bellhousing (rear engine mounts). $X$ application use the two front engine mounts and a single third under the transmission to transfer case adapter for a three point system.

SS Tim
I would have to go back and find the source, but a couple of sources list mounts for 4x4 that seem to be the correct ones for this truck. They are like the ones in the ad which should be correct. Thanks for the Truck Shop ad. That looks like a good source which I did not know about. D-Rock - Would be interested, and would pay for it. Should have the same part # stamped on it. Will get back with you this PM, THANKS I thought all 350 67-70 C20's had the same pump and pully, but could be wrong. Loc Doc - yes a true Custom Camper with wood bed. Needed updated, for had 276000 miles on it. I was able to buy it last summer, and am the 5th owner. Dad purchased it in Nov of 69. Body done, Engine Done, now just get it back together and do interior.

Re: OK, I need help
Good catch! I'd forgotten the early trucks and the Dana 20 Blazers used a variation of the rear engine mounts at the t-case adapter.
While they could be correct I didn't look them up specifically. Here are the correct rear engine mount numbers for the pads and spacer for your application. Be interested in seeing what you are looking at if you have a link or something.

SS Tim
Classic Industries has a part KG01006BK that are about the same as what I need, but are listed as 1962-84 Transfer Case Mounts Are the ones for the blazers I guess

Re: OK, I need help
You may be right but the Classic page that loads for me is sparse on information. It is simply listing KG01006BK as "1968-84 4WD POLYURETHANE TRANSMISSION MOUNT".
To me their T82108 and T82107 "TRANSMISSION MOUNT TRUCK" "look" like what you need. But then online looks alone are a poor way to judge if a part is the correct application. Either way I am done trying to plod through their site on dial up for these. Might try looking up the GM service part numbers as I found a number of hits for real GM parts. Might also find a trade crossover number that is a replacment too. As examples: http://www.oldsobsolete.com/products...t-nos-3789949/ http://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm...r-3705444.html Or even the gmpartswiki.com/query for supercessions and other applications.
