Re: Scored one more NOS part for my resto.

I saw that and thought is was a good buy. I bought a repo and it was off about a 1/4 tank reading. I have an after market gas gauge so thought it might be the gauge. I Put an old sending unit back in and gauge was correct. maybe i was just the lucky one.

Re: Scored one more NOS part for my resto.

I've picked up a few "open box" NOS sending units hoping to get a more accurate reading than what the repops provide. Just my luck, it seems every one was a returned item because none have worked.
The repop does work, but is somewhat erratic.

If you need a sending unit I have a one or two laying around. I know there is one in the 66 cab I just removed. Since I move my tanks to the back I will probably never need one.
