Distributor Removal
Planning to work on the top end of my '76 - stock 350 with HEI. Before getting too far I am wondering if the distributor will come out without moving the engine forward? Tried to search on this subject but could not find a definitive answer. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks, Rob

Re: Distributor Removal
If you're new at this, I suggest making a mark on the firewall that lines up with an imaginary line drawn through the center of the rotor and the outer edge contact. Also, put a mark on the manifold next to where #1 plug wire is connected on the cap. And take pictures!
