WIW Factory Tinted Glass
What is a complete set of factory glass worth. I did nit find any rock dings
or chips, the back glass has a faded window sticker that will have to be removed Last edited by GlennBrittain; 06-21-2015 at 07:48 PM. Reason: omitted word |

Yes I believe soft ray, I can verify that. I neglected to identify the year, the set is from a 69, I removed the glove box door for the option list

Re: WIW Factory Tinted Glass
I often see windshields for $50-100 as brand new are only $150. Side glass is cheap & so is rear. Most I find get new glass so selling old glass takes awhile. Try $200 if you have all 4 pieces, less if not. I've held on to glass for years due to nobody wanting it, other than the windshields which are always needed.

Re: WIW Factory Tinted Glass
Sounds right. Original Soft Ray will be most desirable. It doesn't have to be that great for a patina/unrestored truck. The thing with replacement windshields is, if it breaks, time to buy another. You can have an auto glass company install it for little to nothing because they sold you the glass and if it breaks it is on them. So, unless it's Soft Ray, I don''t bother with used

Re: WIW Factory Tinted Glass
Thanks for the info, I will verify soft ray tomorrow, I really just need to get the glass out of my shop. I have less than half the room in the shop that I had, down sized shop is only 30x30 half if full of lumber for the inside. The other half looks like a U Haul backed up to the door and took a dump.
