Softopper installed... Pics and concerns!
First off here are a few pics of the top:
Now the two areas that I think might be a problem: Is this how the window corners and outsides are supposed to be? Ain't it going to leak pretty bad!! Also if you roll the windows up with the door closed you can't get out of the truck

My guess would be the glass for sure would go inside the top.

Re: Softopper installed... Pics and concerns!
Do you have the black caps that cover the top of the doors? they limit the upward travel of the glass.

No I don't, didn't even know I was missing any. I still think the side/rear of window would get caught on top

Re: Softopper installed... Pics and concerns!
Glass goes inside, it's just a limitation of aftermarket, there is a trick though. What I do is pull up passenger side all the way, then with drivers window up 75% close door and through triangle window, reach in and roll up from the outside, then just push triangle window closed.

Re: Softopper installed... Pics and concerns!
grillzy has it right. Get the caps on the top of ventwing area to close that gap and your set. I have the same top as you and I've been caught in downpours several times, its not a big deal. Very little rain blows in. Looks good btw, wish I'd of went with the tinted windows.

Re: Softopper installed... Pics and concerns!
More likely if no holes you have truck doors that have been cut. Just drill holes and screw.

Re: Softopper installed... Pics and concerns!
I actually wondered the same thing when I installed mine so I called softopper and they told me the window does go inside the flaps. You have to roll the window down to get in and out. I thought it was dumb myself, but I'm not sure how else it could be designed to keep out rain. I personally never drive in the rain so it's not a big deal to me but most will have an issue. The instructions suck by the way. Luckily I was able to figure everything out with the limited direction. Of course he could have been wrong so who knows. Sure seems weird there is a second flap on top of the glass that flops over.
