2007 silverado/sierra 4x4 manual.

Hello from over in the 60-66 section where I'm usually residing. I'm researching a newer large truck(that im in the market for) THIS IS NOT A WANT TO BUY POST..my current DD is a $400 pos that gets me around. I recently. Sold my 98 gmc k1500 sierra which I put most my. Time and effort into. But enough of that. To cut to the chase I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time searching.. I prefer All of my vehicle have a clutch. Just one. Not 45. And I prefer 3 peddles. If Ur smelling what I'm steppin in. So my question. Does a 2005-2007 ish chevy or gmc truck exist with a diesel engine. Four wheel drive. 8 foot bed with a da$m manual transmission. Say an nv4500. I know chevy used em in the 90s body style trucks. But not sure when they discontinued it.. so am I searching for a unicorn? Or are they just not spoken of. Any help or input is welcome. Thanks guys

It would have a zf 6 speed behind a diesel. They are not very common at all. You will be looking for years before you find one.

The manual trans was dropped for the 2007 model year in hd trucks.

Got it. I'm searching all around the US. Don't care where I find it. If I have to Drive cross states for it I'll do it. Any idea what years this was in? 04-06? Thanks s tucker.

01-06 with the diesel. The 05 and 06 diesels have the least amount of problems.

If you get an earlier one, ask when the injectors were done. They fail and are expensive to replace.

I believe that Dodge/RAM is the only make to offer a stick behind a diesel in the last ten years or so. Even then, I think it's only in the HD Tradesman version these days.
