Re: 1/2 Ton Caps fit 3/4 Ton?

A stock 3/4 ton would have 8 lug 16" or 16.5" rims.
Are you sure you have 15" rims?
Not to be splitting hairs, but those are wheel covers. 3/4 ton pickups from that era didn't have wheel covers, just the 12" diameter hub caps.

Re: 1/2 Ton Caps fit 3/4 Ton?

I did have 15"x 8" 8 lug white wagon wheels on my '67 GMC. So it is possible to have a 3/4 ton with 15" rims.

I am sure those caps you show there will not work on your truck unless you have a unusual wheel setup (like mine).

Re: 1/2 Ton Caps fit 3/4 Ton?

My 3/4 GMC had some crusty looking chrome spokes on it and [they were 15's] and I put a set of caps like in the pic and it changed[helped] the look of the truck 100%

Probably not. My 3/4 ton has big hubs sticking out on the rear end so I need dog dish caps.

Front 3/4t hub diameter (assuming you have locking front hubs) is larger than those holes in the 1/2t wheel covers.

Re: 1/2 Ton Caps fit 3/4 Ton?

My vote is no even if your wheels are 15 inch due to the front and rear hubs.

Re: 1/2 Ton Caps fit 3/4 Ton?

you do still need to determine if you have 15 or 16/16.5 rims in order to know which hubcaps to buy. If you have 8 lug original steelies as stated, they are likely 16.5" dia, with a side chance they are 16" wheels. 16 and 16.5 wheels take the 12" caps and 15" steelies take the 10.5" caps (even though they look similar - until side by side). While aftermarket wheels are available in 8 lug and 15" combo, factory 8 lugs were 16 or 16.5.
