GMC In Reno

I would love to buy this, but it is a little further then my reach currently allows.

Hope this finds a good home. If someone here buys this, post some pics!

Re: GMC In Reno

Talked to the owner today, he's firm on his price, needs a valve job he said. Someone from the bay area is coming tomorrow to buy it.

Very observant. I looked at the picture and never even noticed it. When I picked up my Blazer in Flagstaff Az they had 3 " of snow on the ground. Coming from Canada I was surprised but they said that wasn't the norm.

Re: GMC In Reno

After looking at the CL, I was tempted, in quite a few years, to buy another 67-72, 4x4. Hopefully the gentleman sold it to a person that wants to restore it back to somewhat OE.
BTW, that looks like a electric brake for a trailer, I see the 2" receiver in the back.

He Sold it too a friend of mine in California that cleans them up and sells them... He says its a pretty nice blazer. It has a few soft spots in the regular places. The rockers are solid.... Something like the fire chief owned it.

Re: GMC In Reno

This one was pale yellow not like yours in your pics. I'm kicking myself as I'm in Reno and think this was a fellow firefighters that I've been after for 15 years. He's moving to WA and I believe this was an old county fire truck. Matt
