Front Royal show
Went to Pickupman's, Athey's Classic Truck Parts, Front Royal show today. Nice turnout. I met Pickupman, Chevyfatman, and talked with several of the truck owners.
I am not sure why, but was surprised at the number of 4wd trucks. I have only been to a couple of the smaller shows, out in AZ, and seemingly see more of the 2wd there. Maybe there are more 4wd here due to the farm country around here? Saw some really nice trucks, and got some ideas to finish mine. Saw a couple with M/T wide tires on the rear and tubbed without any major mods. I have not been reading the posts with "How big of tires can I get under the rear?", but need to start. I would like to put some wide ones under my next project. I guess that it makes a difference if it is a coil, or a leaf rear end. Seemingly you can get some pretty good size rubber under a coil rear end by tubbing and buying the right offset in your wheels. Oh well, need to finish the one in the garage before I start another.

70longbed, It was nice meeting you along with several of the other board members. I hope you enjoy the show. I felt it went pretty good and had a good turn out.
I have some pictures I will try to post later. Bill
