Please advise on vendor for best carpet.
I'm ready to purchase carpet for my 1970 swb with low hump. Going to go with the color black. Does anyone have a recommendation on the best fitting and quality carpet from what vendor. I noticed they the prices are all around the 150 range. Thanks for your comments and pictures all always great.

A lot of guys recommend ACC. It's available from several outlets. I bought mine from Stock Interiors.

Wow Rock auto seems to have the best price $107.79.
better than the deal I got from Classic Industries. Here is 5% off from Rock auto if interested , Enter the code above in the "How Did You Hear About Us?" space on the checkout page (above your payment information). Do not enter any other text in that space or the discount will not apply Chief- sweet looking truck!

Re: Please advise on vendor for best carpet.
Maybe not, with Mass backing says $146.79. Guessing that's jute padding:/
I would recommend 80/20 loop if you like the original type that came on our trucks. ACC 1894230 Loop; Molded; Complete; Click INFO to view full-size color swatches in the image box Reg Cab 2WD Low Tunnel Part Image Choose Color: - Non-stock item--shipping delayed up to 2 business days $114.79

Re: Please advise on vendor for best carpet.
Quote:
"What is Mass Backing? Our Mass Back is made of 40mil thick Ethylene vinyl acetate which gives the carpet a dense rubber backing to reduce heat and noise within your vehicle. The Mass Back is applied to the back of the carpet and then molded to the correct shape. This Mass Back carpet more closely duplicates the original factory materials for many later model OEM carpets. Because this is an upgraded product, there is a surcharge for this backing, as well as additional shipping costs. In most cases jute padding will be included with the carpet, and may or may not be attached to the bottom of the carpet made with Mass Back, depending on the application." I used the 80/20 ACC with mass backing from Rock Auto. Best price I found. The jute pad was attached to the mass backing. I'm very satisfied. |

Re: Please advise on vendor for best carpet.
I've used ACC and trim parts carpet. Both are great quality and fit.
