Mecum auction Harrisburg, PA

Did anyone catch the Mecum auto auction in Harrisburg, PA? I was watching it last night and saw some beautiful 67-72 trucks roll across the auction block. To my surprise the winning bid was very low. One truck went for 9,000.00! Has the value of 67-72 trucks diminished? I will have well over 10K invested that once I have completed my labor of love restoring my 71 K10.

Never been to one of these auctions. Maybe these trucks look better on TV.

I was watching a Barrett jackson the other day was a rerun, there was a red and black shortty that went across and when the lights hit the right way you could see how bad the paint was layed on it, it went for 10k, was surprised even with how dented the under bed side was.

The vehicles can look much different in person. I went to the auction in Indy a couple of years ago. Some of the prices that surprise you are for good reason, much different up close and in person versus how they look on TV. I had an awesome time, well worth going.
