Ordering Brake Parts

Just curious what folks are doing here with brakes. I'm going to rebuild the brakes on my 68 K10 and have been looking at LMC truck--anyone ordered from them before as far as brakes go?

Also, I see there are variables put forth in their literature on which is which and such--brake shoes, line diameter and such. What's the correct dims on my 68--it's completely stock as near as I can tell.

Trying to get all of this ordered while on the road so when I get back from the latest adventure I will be ready to rock....

Thanks, Dave.

Here's the latest adventure. PH 2800XPC shovel at an iron ore mine in the Sahara. Google "Zouerate, Mauritania" for the location. No glamor here, it's a beer-free dump!

Re: Ordering Brake Parts

your best bet is to go into the local autoparts store and buy from them

X2!!
Wait until you get back, do some measuring first. Order locally!

I got a lift from a shovel like that once.
Picked up the back of the 100 ton and slipped me over 50 feet. I'd backed in wrong!

x3 on that. Really need to take the wheels off and have a look and measure. I was able to get NOS up here-Drums made in Canada which was a treat compared to the Chinese stuff you usually get. The shoes were harder to find.
