Porterbuilt 1" forward control arms sway bar help

So I ordered the 1" forward arms and sway bar a couple months ago. The arms came in but i guess the sway bar is backordered with no ETA of shipping. Its really holding back progress on my truck as im wanting to get everything powder coated and intall everything at the same time. Are there any alternatives? Any other sway bar I can use on the 1" forward arms? Thanks

We have been having manufacture our sway bars for the past several years. Over the last 12-18 months their delivery times have been growing longer and longer.

Due to this, we have been developing our own sway bars to better serve our customers. We are only a few more weeks away from having our own bars available.

Do me a favor and shoot me an email and I can see if there is something we can figure out to help keep the progress moving on your project.

Perfect!

Then he should follow up with you sometime today. We go through tons of email and sometimes it might take a day or so. If you don't hear back within a day (not counting weekends or holidays) then re-send it!

Thanks!

I apologize for your frustration.

Unfortunately we have been feeling the same disappointment for the past several months with our supplier. It has led us to develop and manufacture our own bars in house.

Once we have our own bar into production it will eliminate the current issues we are experiencing with delivery time. We are not quite ready to go into production, but are close.

The sway bar delivery issue has not been a secret and our vendors have been well aware of this for quite some time. I apologize that this was not properly communicated to you.

I sent you a PM asking that you send me an email to see if there is something we can do to help get you taken care of in an expedited manner.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Nate

Re: Porterbuilt 1" forward control arms sway bar help

I would think any C10 "end link" style sway bar would work if the "eye-to-eye" measurement is the same as your a-arms.
Since you do not have the narrowed version,... I would think a stock sway bar could be mounted to the frame,... just a little forward of the factory position.
Plus I would eliminate the factory frame stands and attach the bar directly to the frame rails.

Here's a few listed from Summit Racing:
http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...del/c10-pickup

Can you give Addco a call and get a part number,... then purchase the bar thru Summit?

The only current bars you can use are PB's spec'd version that Addco is manufacturing (also where the delay is originating) or Ride Tech's Musclebar per Nate @ PB. I found out differently (the hard way). The same bar is used for both narrowed/not narrowed PB arms.
