Re: bags vs springs
Welcome to the forum!
I went from 4" drop springs in rear to bags because I want to tow with my truck, also this gave me a much softer ride as well so I believe it to be win/win

Re: bags vs springs
Mild c-notch, 6" springs, 1" blocks in my '63. Went to bags/schraders in rear only. Not a huge change in drivable ride height with the bags. Went back to springs for no failure peace of mind.

Re: bags vs springs
Howdy and welcome. Bags are the only way to go I think because I like my trucks sitting on the ground, I think the ride is also better, each to his own though,
Have a good week

Re: bags vs springs
I also went from 4 inch drop coils in the rear to bags and schraders. No complaints at all. I still use my truck to haul stuff on occasion and the more weight, the better the ride. I'm satisfied with it..

Re: bags vs springs
The pros the truck will ride smoother and you have height adjustment,The cons is really the price. The only problems i have seen with air ride is someone installed things wrong. What year truck do you have,And do you want it lowered good or laying frame?
