I bought a new truck! (Updated--now with pics!!)
Well, it's new to me anyway!
Last weekend I brought home a '96 Ford E-350 Van cutaway. In it's first life, it was an ambulance...now it's an extended cab truck with a flatbed! Yeah, I know, sounds kind of silly, but it will make the perfect platform for a Reading Enclosed utility body that I just bought. It will be my new work truck. Yeah, yeah, it's a Ford, I know! I've always been a GM guy all my life, but I couldn't pass this deal up! Because here's the best part: it's powered by the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel, and I only paid $5300 for the thing! The dealer wanted to get rid of it bad, so I got a great deal. It looks good too, nice paint, excellent interior with captains chairs. It's got the E40D auto tranny, and a limited slip dually rear axle. A/c, power windows/locks....it's just a really nice rig with only 137,000 miles. I'll post some pics of it soon! Now I can keep the '81 off the road a little more and finally get a chance to get back to work on it! Later ya'll! Casey

While ill take a bunch of **** from some of the chevy fanatics here, Ford makes a damn good truck. I have a construction company where i run ford and chevy trucks ( you couldnt give me a dodge product again) and i love them. My 89 F250 with the 351 and E40D trans took beatings beyond belief
Best of luck with the new truck, although being it was an ambulance in its past, i sure hope that it was properly maintained and not abused. You should have at least another 140K in that motor before any major work |

My Ranger is by no means cool...but the Ranger in the newest issue of Truckin called Lightning Bolt that is basically a Lightning wrapped in a Ranger body is! Just an example. You get the idea don't you Jeep boy? -Jeff |

Hot Rod Magazine put a 500 Cad in a Chevette a few years ago. That was a pretty cool Chevette, I think.

My last truck was an extended cab V6 Ranger. It was a great truck except for the crappy automatic transmission. It was an A4LD. They go out every 75,000 miles no matter what.
