Looking for a chrome SM465 shifter for a 4x4 (single bend). Knob not necessary, but I will buy it too if you have it. Thanks.

Do you already have the 4x4 only version for 67-72? I'd check into chroming it, as you may be happier in the end with results and be around same price. Trevor

Yes, I have a painted one. I have considered getting it chromed, but it would look too nice. I want something with a little age on it to blend in. Just seeing if something is out there.

Re: WTB - Chrome SM465 Shifter for 4x4
Let me close the deal on the chrome shifter before I sell off my black one that I currently use to drive my truck. I think I would take $60 + shipping. I never realized how hard it is to find these shifters (black or chrome) until I swapped the TH350 for an SM465.

Re: WTB - Chrome SM465 Shifter for 4x4
Tell me about it! Its the last piece to finish the same conversion on my burb. What kills me is I have a chrome one somewhere but cant find it anywhere!! I did the same swap on a 75 K10 and it came with the early chrome shifter but it would hit the dash so had to get a later two bend version.
Let me know how it goes and we will work it out. |

Re: WTB - Chrome SM465 Shifter for 4x4
OK. I will take it for $80 plus $20 for shipping for a total of $100. Let me know how you take payment. Thanks.

Re: WTB - Chrome SM465 Shifter for 4x4
Do you have nice rubber boots, rings, knobs and a nice chrome transfer case shifter to go with your new 4speed shifter?
