Speaker or Factory head unit?
Not for the truck, but my dad's 1996 Fleetwood. The speaker in the passenger front door panel sounded like it was going out, made weird noises with any kind of bass, and now it's working but in very short intermittent bursts, it does work for a bit if I smack the door panel. Is it the speaker, a short, or the factory radio? Thanks.

Replace it all, but the speakers go first

Re: Speaker or Factory head unit?
look at your door wire loom too, terrible design
often the flexing when opening the door breaks the wires eventually everything electrical in the door quits working or works intermittently

Re: Speaker or Factory head unit?
Yeah, it had started to "flap" so I think it tore, its almost 20 years old so it doesn't surprise me. Bout to order new speakers for both doors and then look at the door harness.
