Correct A6 AC compressor replacement?
Hey guys; I have a 1970 CST w/ factory AC and the compressor went out recently, and this truck is a 100% matching numbers and date code correct truck (minus me adding an AM/FM radio out of a Cheyenne Super and rally wheels) and I want to keep it as correct and original as possible but do need to buy a new / rebuilt A6 compressor for it. As you know, there are a million sellers of these and probably as many rebuilders etc, and quite a few price points, so wondering if anyone who has driven across this bridge already with their correct-type restoration has a suggestion where to buy one from or what rebuilder to contact? Any help is appreciated....thank you! Steve

Why not just have yours rebuilt?
