New 60-66 Bedsides

Just received a set of new bedsides. Packaged well, just a little scuffing where they rubbed against the cardboard. Have to say that they look good.

Everyone will be carrying these. If I were to get some I would probably drive down to LA and get some one the truckandcarshop. Cheaper then shipping and I won't have to worry about damage. I have not called them yet to see if they have them.
Brothers trucks is having a sale. Only problem is their sale price is the same as everyone else's everyday price. hahah

LMC has free truck freight on orders over $1k. I got free truck freight on mine (bedsides are $600 each) and it was residential delivery.

I am thinking of selling my 4 OEM sides and getting 2 of these, just don't feel like blocking for 40 hours.

Maybe you should get 2 of those FIRST, and THEN sell the 4 oem's (provided they fit of course)

Planing to mock up today. Measurements look good for length, height, width and wheel tub.

I understand the coffee to start off, but I usually don't use the instructions until I am 2/3 of the way through the project and realize I missed something critical 1/3 of the way through...............................

Re: New 60-66 Bedsides

So far, things look to fit well. Had to elongate two holes at the side panel where it connects to the front bed panel

Re: New 60-66 Bedsides

Have you mounted these yet or took measurements. I saw where some received a set and they were 2 inches short in length and 1 in short in height. Just wondering.

Re: New 60-66 Bedsides

looks awesome and the length long almost spot on. will the stock 77 1/8" long wood boards fit inside? i think alot of people are waiting around to see how they work out and look, myself included. i wonder if this will drive down the price of used bedsides.

@ davbowen- wood laid out...front bed panel to rear sill notch measures in at 77-1/4". Good room for wood movement. Stock boards and strips from Mar-K.

@Sixty3 I know this post is older, but I am rebuilding my bed from all repop parts as well. I was wondering if you had a photo of your front bed panel to bedsides gap. I feel like mine was closer from this repop panel to the original bedsides. But now it looks a ways off with these repoo bedsides. The front panel is from LMC which I imagine is the same Counterpart brand these bedsides are from Classic Industries. However, this front panel was order in 2013 to go with the orignal bedsides, maybe I need to purchase a new front panel as improvements in tooling have occured over the past five years. Thanks for any help.
