Bought me a 67 327 with double hump heads. Guy i bought it from had a couple hundred double hump heads in a container. Has a head machine shop behind his house. I left heads with him to do a valve job and put new stainless steel valve and news springs etc. Hopefully ill drop off engine in the nxt couple of weeks to get rebuilt.

Re: Bought me a 327
That's an early small journal block. (GM changed from this block to large journal mid year 67 for the 68 model year) The only problem is the small journal rods used a small bolt and are not as strong as later GM rods / bolts. BUT,, until the new large journal cranks came out,, ALL small journal 327 cranks were forged cranks
The old road draft breather port can be plugged and use a normal PCV, intake and rocker covers (that is unless your wanting the period correct look. Nice find.

Good for you. I remember those where some of the most sought after heads, especially the ones that you could only put a dime between the valves. Sadly as time changes the value/demand for them is going away, just like square port big block heads. Keep us posted on you engine, want to hear it run when its finished.
