Project U S Army Sargent Slam
Decided to change direction on my truck. Found out it is a U S Army truck. My dad was an Army Veteran and he died 3 years ago from liver failure so I am going to dedicate this build to him. Here is the day I brought the Sargent home. Sitting on an S10 frame with awesome cragers.

Re: Project U S Army Sargent Slam
I am going to paint it flat army green. But I am going to change a few things. it's going to have chrome bumpers, chrome grill ,black 18 inch steel wheels with chrome center cap and beauty rings. It's also going to lay running boards with a bolt on ridetech system. since I am in a scooter. It's going to have an electric scooter lift in the bed.

Re: Project U S Army Sargent Slam
It took 9 hours and a run to the hardware store. But I got the rear bolt in ride tech system in. I was pretty disappointed in the instructions from ridetech and the kit was missing alot of nuts and bolts. Here's a pic of it air all the way up. It really has 10 inches of travel

Re: Project U S Army Sargent Slam
That's a nasty looking engine!
I like it! Does it all stay under the hood or is it sticking out a bit?

Re: Project U S Army Sargent Slam
Made a cab lift out of 2 x 4s to mount on my engine lift. Got the design off this web site. Worked perfect.

Re: Project U S Army Sargent Slam
It's to bad I have to drill into the firewall for the hinges and inner fenders. But I left those areas from the old firewall to weld the new firewall to on the inside. So all I have all to do is run a drill through 10 holes from the inside of the cab.
