Soap it & rope it.....just run the rope in the channel on the rubber, with the 2 ends meeting at the bottom center. Get the bottom in 1st, & the rest will "walk". no fears on the rear glass, its tempered, & pretty hard to break. good luck, crazyL

Put the rubber on the glass. Install the chrome next, if you have any. Then take a 3/16 braided nylon rope and put the middle of the rope at the top of the window. Now work the rope into the groove that's going to go over the metal. It should cross at the middle of the bottom. Have a helper hold the window against the opening from the outside, putting firm pressure on the glass. Use soapy water or glass cleaner to lube the rubber. Start pulling the rope into the opening and go smoothly around both sides. That's about all there is to it.

Personally, a hook tool or fiber stick is my choice......but you need to be very carefull next to the fresh paint. Truckster, I think that old "booger" tryed teaching me "upsidedown " on the rope! It makes better sense the way you wrote it crazyL

Longhorn, it works better that way because gravity helps you instead of fighting it. Glad to help.
