engine compartment
stupid question
im going to be putting the 76 together soon and im wondering what color you guys paint the inner fender sides ( i know the fender wells are black) and i guess the firewall gets done body color. has anyone painted the firewall black instead of body color?

I've done it on previous project vehicles, can't see why it wouldn't look presentable in a truck.

I think it looks better blacked out since then more attention is brought to the engine itself and much easier to touch up later on.
