Anyone ever seen lower trim like this?
I'm thinking this is a combination of 68 and 69-72 trim to get it to go over the wheelwells. I love it and want to replicate it. Last edited by fartblossom; 10-07-2015 at 04:01 PM. |

That is good looking. They probably cut down 67-68 trim.

Wow...looks great, but raises the "keep it like it came from the factory" or "customize it" issue.

Re: Anyone ever seen lower trim like this?
i would also say it is trim over the wheels from a 67-68 truck or aftermarket wheel well trim. Jim

Got the guy to take a picture of the corner. He just bought this and doesn't know anything about the trim.
As far as customization, I have a low option 69 longbed that was originally a 6 cylinder. I feel freed up to do whatever I want. If I had a high option short bed Cheyenne, I'd probably feel different. |

Re: Anyone ever seen lower trim like this?
so I think I'm going to order the wheel well trim, but I've noticed the front has more horizontal included, and the rear doesn't. Anyone got any idea whether I should order 2 front and 2 rear, or 4 rear? Is there any real difference between the front wheel well shape and the rear?

I'm pretty sure the front has a bigger gap

Nobut, I really like that! I'm not a huge fan of chrome/shiny, but these do look pretty cool.
