A/C routing help needed
I have factory A/C in my 70 K10 and am in the process of assembling the vent hoses under the dash. Does anyone have a picture of how these hoses are routed? Kind of confused which hose goes where. Thank you in advance

The routing can be found in the service manual and the assembly manual. Do you have one or both of those manuals? If not, you should. The service manual can be found online.

How's this look? Try an online vendors website also, lmc, etc. Many have a better diagram.

Re: A/C routing help needed
Mine is routed similarly, however, I only have one hose going to the center vent - from the passenger side of the vent. There are caps on the splitter down below and on the center vent (see the lower picture in the above diagram). The effect is for all of the cold air from the center vent to be directed towards the driver.

Re: A/C routing help needed
The diagrams only helped partially. My truck was gutted when I bought it, so I have no idea what is suppose to look like. My concerns are where exactly do the center vent ducting run to? They are a smaller diameter than the rest. Would also like to see how some others routed around wiring etc. So far I only have the passenger side done. I'm not even sure if I have all the pieces.

HeloCrewChief The small diagram in the upper right corner is a fix a lot of folk's say will deliver more air to the center vent by eliminating one side of the air hose to the center vent. I installed it on mine. Air is still not blowing very hard as compared to newer cars. Some say a faster blower motor is the fix. There is a lot of info on this issue in the history files that you can find with the search function. The other good thing is once you buy a part from LMC they will send you free catalog's every three or four month's The catalogs are a great reference tool to keep around the shop. Some say the catalog's are the best part of LMC Great looking truck

Re: A/C routing help needed
This was the alternative I was mentioning above. I don't think it moves any more air to the center vent, just directs air towards the driver as opposed to towards both the driver and the passenger.
