Suspension upgrade sale?
Hey ya'll Classic has a sale until midnight tonight. I was looking at this one. I don't want to give up my rally 15s or have to do anymore relocating then needed looking for a nice bolt on type arrangement that doesn't break the bank. Gives me some good performance upgrades (sway bars) and replaces the heated coils...
This look like a good deal for all that and which size for meeting my needs/wants? |

72 lwb trailing arms and coils currently. And not looking for a crazy drop... Small front end and just a little bit more dropped in rear than the front.

Re: Suspension upgrade sale?
Are you looking for a little more drop than your heated springs?
Or, do you want a little drop vs stock unsagged springs? You might consider throwing out some measurments from the ground to the center of your wheel arch. That way there's a baseline of sorts, and decide from there. I'd go to the static drop gallery thread, and find a setup that suits your vision. Plenty of great info there, including wheel/tire fitment. Regardless, the sway bars are probably one of the best suspension investments you can make. Usually first on my list.

Running 275/60/15 all around now. The only change i'd want to make with that in future is a wider tread in back when they ne replacing... Heres a front and back shot on the wheels.

Re: Suspension upgrade sale?
I know they do these 20% offers pretty regular so not in a super rush here and want to spend my coin wisely where this is concerned... That static thread has some sweet fffing trucks!
I'm just looking to do simple bolts ons, keep my 15 rallys, and get that ass down a bit for a more aggresive stance thats budget friendly and drivable. Just replaced the roors upfront discs at 1.25 thick. |
