3/4 Ton 2" Drop Shackles?
On my 2009 I dropped the rear by using drop shackles, which in turn allowed me to drop the torsion bars in the front.
In my '71 I'd like to drop the rear using the same method but haven't seen a thread showing anyone doing this (I tried searching) So my question is, has anyone done this and do you have a shackle kit # that they used? Otherwise I'm getting out the tape to get my spring width and start the hunt... Just want to drop the rake some...

Re: 3/4 Ton 2" Drop Shackles?
I just did it on my 1970 C20. Used these and I pulled one leaf to get it level.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I wasn't sure that the 73+ ones would work, thanks for the link. Nice truck! Thanks, Chad/69 MOD

Re: 3/4 Ton 2" Drop Shackles?
The first ones listed are for 2.5" wide springs, too big for our trucks.
The springs are 2.25" wide which require the second set listed.

Re: 3/4 Ton 2" Drop Shackles?
I lowered my 70 C2500 with them years ago, work great. Mine were from ECE and as usual, I highly recommend doing business with them. As mentioned above they should be 2 1/4" wide.
FWIW, the Longhorn truck I had was equipped with 2 1/2" wide leafs in the rear so use the tape measure.
