Back up lights 65 C-10

$50.00 Per side? I had plain, round reflectors screwed on under my tail lights. Now that I know that is where the reverse lt would go (started in 66 I think) I want them. Dont care about year correct or even having a Chevy light. Anyone using a round or even square setup from some car or pickup? Mustang, GTO and some others look a little similar and might be available in junk yard, but prob just as costly. Maybe a foreign car? I'll keep looking for a cheaper way to go and hope someone out there has found something that works.

Re: Back up lights 65 C-10

I bought some after market backup lights at Autozone about 20 years ago and have them wired to a toggle switch. This way I can use tgem for light behind my Suburban without having ti put trans in reverse. Also works great for people that like to leave their brights on behind me. I wilk post a picture of them shortly

I'm sure you could do an LED set up without breaking the bank. Should be pretty bright and could be wired through a switch off the shifter or a toggle. I've been meaning to switch my '66 to LED, just never gotten around to it.
