Smile 86 short bed



Just picked up the truck going to replace spark plugs , do an oil change and start to clean up the interior .

Thank's , i plan on 2 1/2 drop spindles on the front and im guessing 6 in rear . Will see how it goes i have to get it tagged 1st . I'm going to drive it as is for a while i have to save up some money.

u can get after market drop springs or get new stock big block springs an cut a coil of of them....just depends on what u wana do

Added a new steering wheel still need to clean the interior . Also need to paint the engine bay . I think for now ill be driving it as is i have to save up some money.

Hey guy's previous owner installed these im thinking of removing them . Do i really need a tach ? And will the stock oil gauge be sufficient ?

Love the truck ! Where did you find that radio ? Looking for a stock oil pressure gage myself. Right now I am changing the timing cover, and oil pan gasket.

Thanks , I found the radio at pick n pull in Dallas . I'm looking for a stock temp gauge also another cluster the previous owner hacked up the cluster.

Well i found a cluster and took it apart cleaned it out painted the inside . Next im going to paint the needles . Im going to add LED lights hopefully it wont be too bright .

Well i installed the new cluster , but i didn't like how bright my gauges came out. I think i will use brighter LED's . Now i need to wait for the bulbs to come in .

I would dye/paint the door panels burgandy since that appears to be the color choice your going with for the interior (?).
