heater system on no a/c truck
Good Morning,
I am looking for help to get my heating system working and an estimated cost. It looks like I need a heater core and a blower motor. PO left ductwork in the truck and it appears to be in good working condition. Can someone school me on what things I need to check to make sure that the system functions and how much the heater core and blower motor cost as well as the best place to purchase them? Jimmy |

Re: heater system on no a/c truck
they are both available at the local o reillys still. the motor over there is a good one. VDO brand. the core youll most likely only find in aluminum but it works just fine. replave your heater hoses too.

You will want to be sure that the cables and controls are still good. Replacement levers are available if needed. It's a pretty simple system overall.

Re: heater system on no a/c truck
Does anyone have a diagram or illustration or picture of how everything hooks together? PO literally took everything completely apart and gutted the heater box as well. I will literally have to pretend like nothing was there so i want to make sure I get the vacuum lines and everything in the right place.
Thanks! |
