Leaf springs and coil overs 80 K5
How many leafs are in the factory front leaf spring? I was under our 80 Silverado Blazer last night and noticed the front leafs are about 2 1/2" away from the bump stop and there are only 2 leafs per side in each pack. Yet the truck sits level.
I also noticed it has coil overs added to the rear suspension to replace the shocks. I'm assuming that the leafs were wearing out and the coil overs were a way of stretching the life out of the leafs?

Re: Leaf springs and coil overs 80 K5
I thought stock was 3 leafs per pack but wouldn't be surprised if some years had 2. If it's level I'd assume it's still stock and working as advertised. The rear coil-overs, well, who knows what the po was thinking.. I'd pull them and replace w/stock replacements.
