Re: Cheyenne Super Longhorn on CL

For some reason or another I'm thinking it is the same guy that had a black one ton on C-List from Jackson TN a few weeks ago. Now that doesn't take away from the truck at all it is super[ pardon the pun]

SPID is homemade (the font is incorrect), but that is a really nice truck.

I think you may be right. I only have one Flint SPID and I couldn't really tell about the font but mine has an order number down in the lower right portion.

Scott you are very knowledgeable about these trucks so does having both the Cheyenne Z84 RPO and the YE9 Super Cheyenne RPO on the same spid seem right to you? Before I get accused of trying to dis the truck, the truck looks very original to me and I wouldn't mind owning it myself.

Re: Cheyenne Super Longhorn on CL

Both codes on the same SPID is possible. What's not possible is a 160 interior code for black interior. Regardless of the SPID, it's still a nice truck and worth every penny of the asking price IMO. Also very likely a original super.

Re: Cheyenne Super Longhorn on CL

I never caught the Black interior and my Super has one of the ultra rare Black Cloth interiors too. (tongue in cheek)

I still love the truck and think it's a good value.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers, and I certainly wouldn't let a silly sticker deter me from buying it.

Re: Cheyenne Super Longhorn on CL

Question: I always thought the longhorn had an extension piece bolted to the front of the bed to make it longer than 8' ?? Did they make then with one piece longer than 8' bedsides too?

Re: Cheyenne Super Longhorn on CL

Hey guys,

I actually picked this one up this afternoon! Well, I paid for it but have to go back with a trailer. It runs amazingly well and would drive the 3 hours home just fine, but I didn't have a copilot with me today.

Thank goodness. I was beginning to think I was going to have to go to Tennessee and save this truck.

Roger that, I had been watching that one too. I'm glad someone from the board ended up with it. Contrates on purchasing a good looking super-horn.

Razorbacker, I was in Maumelle with my Longhorn 4 days last week and it never even occurred to me to get together and compare trucks.
