Received a very nice gift today

OK, so my niece came up from Florida today for the Thanksgiving holiday and to my complete surprise she had a local wood working craftsman making miniature wood versions of my trucks. Who knows how many hours he has in these things. Even the interiors are detailed. All this was done based on pictures my wife sent her months ago. Yes, I am a lucky guy.

Re: Received a very nice gift today

Those are nice. I'd agree that they deserve and need their own showcase.

Somewhere tucked away in a drawer or box I have an inlayed long distance plaque that looks like it was made by the same hands. It's a model T touring inlaid on laque with each raised piece of the T carved out very similar to the pieces in those trucks.
