Longhorn pic please
Appreciate any help on a pic of a 1969 or 1970 longhorn 4x4 with raiseed roof pads and hockey puck markers. (A napco or marmon conversion perhaps?)
I know this would be a hens tooth so if nothing comes of it... Backstory: I was BSing with my stepfather. Said I'd like to build one with propane. He said he had a friend who had a neighbor who worked for a railroad...you get the picture. Question is does one exist and if so a picture will tell it 1000 times. Thanks

Re: Longhorn pic please
It would have had to of been a napco or similar aftermarket conversion. Hockey puck cab lights would make it a 69. There was a longhorn on eBay recently that was converted in the 80s. So I see it being very possible

Re: Longhorn pic please
There was just an orange and white converted Longhorn on ebay this week. It got bid up to $7k but the reserve wasn't met. It doesn't have cab lights on it. I have pictures of 05 Dodge clearance lights on my cab some where. There is a blue 70 Longhorn on ebay right now. Some one has added the cab lights, and not in the correct spot. It also has 72 mirrors on it. Any how, here is a pic of it and the link to the ad.

Re: Longhorn pic please
I hadn't thought about photoshop. Good idea.
I was hoping for a mining, forestry, or railroad company survivor popping up here. Leon I hope you don't mind if I lift your photo. I have a buddy who is aces with photoshop. Hopefully he will be able to create or recreate what I have in mind. I asked for 69 or 70 because before that no roof pads and yes you are correct hockey pucks in 69. Thanks again guys/gals Enjoy the holidays!

Re: Longhorn pic please
man, look at all the longhorn conversions coming out the woodwork. I have though of converting mine, just can't bring myself to do it. Im looking for 4x4 burb instead. Why the factory didn't make the longhorn in 4x4 i will never understand.
