WTB: diesel tach lens.

Looking for maybe a couple of the 4,000 rpm diesel tach lenses for a couple dashes i will be working on. Don't need to be perfect...

Eric,
If your not able to find any you might give John at Redline gauges a call, A couple of years ago I sent him a broken Diesel tach/vac lens and two normal tach/vac lens, he polished off the numbers and re-screened on the diesel ones, He may still have the template.

great..now I have to have one. Is that something that was original from the factory? Did they ever put diesel motors in these trucks?

Mark, I remember when you had that done. Do you remember if it was spendy? I am just trying to use up extra parts here.

Jaybatta, It is factory original for the bigger trucks. There are a couple of different tach heads for the diesels.

Eric, I do not remember the total for having two done, The initial computer design work for the template was the part that cost the most, If they kept the templates it shouldn't be too expensive.

Joe, That is correct, Diesel engines were optional in the Medium duty trucks.
