hi beam indicator light??

I spent a good part of today removing dash panel, installed a new print circuit, installed two new bulbs that were absent from the dash panel entirely, reassembled, placed back into dash, raised the steering wheel and re-bolted and................
still no high beam indicator light. Turn signals work, gauge lights work for battery, temperature, and oil and gas, but NO hi beam light.

The floor light switch does operate the high and low beam but does the switch have anything to do with the hi beam indicator light? I am going to replace the twist in bulb holder tomorrow and would like to know if I need to replace the switch. I did sandpaper the 3 prongs on the male plug.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the exact same problem. Everything works fine other than the high beam indicator. If I figure out my problem, I'll let you know

Re: hi beam indicator light??

Probably a break in the wire somewhere in the dash harness.have you checked for voltage to the lamp indicator pin ( the rectangle plug that fits in the back of the cluster, bright green wire) if I recall correctly, if you have the brights on, you should have 12 volts there, if not, might have a break in the wire, or as some folks have found, mice may have chewed through the insulation/wire. Talking Re: hi beam indicator light??

here's a schematic of the under hood wiring and the front lamp harness, you can find almost every schematic/diagram you need here on the forum, usually under the "FAQ" posts..... the grounds are the black wires that have an "Arrow made up of fading lines right off each lamp connection.....

here's a picture to help locate the grounds, the black circles show the ground connections.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: hi beam indicator light??

Mine works until it gets warmed up, so I'm pretty sure that my issue lies at the circuit board, where it seems that most other do to. Since yours does nothing there must be a open between the bulkhead connector and the cluster.

Try taking the connector off the cluster and seeing if the light green wire gets power when the bright are on. This wire is driven right off the high beam wire, so if your dimmer switch works the lights fine then its ok.
