The Stage 8 bolts are bad to the bone. I've started many times to buy a set, but I have never needed them. I finally got a set of stainless ARP headers bolts. Got tired of the rusty bolts.
Anyway, I have never had a header leak. I guess you could call it luck, or maybe it's the thick Edelbrock header flanges. Also, I see everyone talking about their header bolts backing out. This has never happend to me either. What's the deal?

I love my Stage 8 header bolts. My bolts would loosen up before getting them. Cost me $38 from Summit and never looked back.

I wouldn't use anything but Stage 8's on headers.
Want to see how good they are?........try to buy them on eBay, They typically sell for more than retail there. |
