Window frames 48-52
I have 48 doors mounted. I do have a set of 52 door window frames, but they leave a huge gap (other than space for vent latch). Is the 47-50 window frames thinner than the 51-54's or is there a way they need to mount.
I do have new run channel. Thanks |

Re: Window frames 48-52
It's too cold, dark and late to go out and dig one of each out of the shed but from what I've read there are noticeable differences in them beside the notch for the vent wing

Re: Window frames 48-52
Maybe tomorrow you could compare. I hate to buy on ebay w/o knowing the difference as it looks like people sell NOT knowing any difference.
Thanks |

Re: Window frames 48-52
if you use a 48 door you need to use 48 windows and parts. The 47-50 uses a window frame around the glass so it thicker, The 51 up does not use a metal frame so the channel runner is narrower

Re: Window frames 48-52
I have 47-50 doors mounted with the stock parts. I can only now assume those window frames are somewhat thinner than the 51+

Re: Window frames 48-52
51 up has no window frame on the glass or are you talking about the outer molding that snaps on and inner molding that screw to the door. 47 -50 and 51 up do not interchange

Re: Window frames 48-52
I'm referring to the metal frame that screws on.

Re: Window frames 48-52
I was able to check those frames tonight, they are identical outside of the cut away you see to clear the vent window framing, and the one hole you can see on the vent window one (pink.)
Now if I can find the outside window frames I know I had! Darn it, the only pair I found are pretty funky and I want to fix them nice enough for chrome. Brian
