CO 15 Sport Mirror Sets -- 14 are NOS

Gonna kick off 2016 with a bang!

Selling off some of my collection...I acquired these from a truck repair shop. Story is they bought these 30-40 years ago and they've been sitting in their attic ever since--boxes have the dust embedded in them to prove it!

I can reduce prices a bit to combine on shipping. Otherwise, I am pretty firm on the prices.

The 14 NOS sets each include the following:
LH mirror 3985541
RH mirror 3985542
6 NOS mounting screws (self-tapping style)
2 NOS gaskets (a few somehow have two RH gaskets and no LH gaskets--see details below)
Mounting instructions

The instructions were printed in 1971 and assume the truck has the backing plate---so no backing plates are included.

8 of the sets have never been opened. I think there is a certain added value to an unopened GM part, so I will not be opening them. I Windexed the ones that were open to give a better representation in the pictures below.

Set #13 is the only set that shows signs of ever being mounted--see below for more details.

#13 -- Only set that appears to have been mounted at one time. A little paint on LH mirror. Has 1.5" scratch on RH's stainless steel. Missing the LH gasket. Includes one RH gasket with a little paint on it, screws, and instructions. Both mirrors have some type of glue on the bases where the part number is stamped. Only set that has the black rubber frames--never seen those before, but could be easily cut off I would imagine. $125 M.O. or $129.04 Paypal Sold

Tom, #3 is probably the nicest looking unopened box. I can do #3 and #9 shipped in the same box for $435 using a money order....essentially $10 off for combined shipping. I'll send you a PM with my mailing address to send the money order.

All 15 mirror sets come with their original box including set #9. For each order I am placing the original box(es) inside a shipping box for added protection.

For everyone's information all 8 unopened sets are in good condition. Some are a bit dustier than others, but none are crushed or severely torn....not that I mind picking out the best looking ones either....

BTW, anyone know the history on these? I believe those in the OP are the same as 3981409-10, other than maybe the rubber. The OP might be the original, while the 3981409-10 are in the parts book and could be the replacement.
