That, sir, is a GM Turbo 350 transmission with a "long" tailshaft.

No kickdown visible but we can't see the area in front of the dipstick tube where the cable connects. 400 has electric kickdown solenoid connection on LH side, much larger pan and body, and vacuum modulator is in front of dipstick.
